Young Ambassador's
Program (YAP)

"The Young Ambassadors Program will
empower young people with the tools to
stand up for the City of New Orleans."

Arnie Fielkow, co-chair Fleur-de-Lis Ambassadors,
Councilperson at Large, New Orleans

The mission of Levees.org's Young Ambassador's Program is to train our city's young people to support, defend and stand up for their city and their region.

YAP's first initiative is to give all of New Orleans' middle and upper school students an opportunity to view the film "The Katrina Myth: The Truth about a Thoroughly Unnatural Disaster."

This 10-minute video shows what really happened in New Orleans on August 29, 2005 and why. And why there is no reason for New Orleans to have anything other than a bright and prosperous future.

After an in school screening, the YAP program provides a free DVD to each student to take it home to show their families.

Launch of YAP

This screening of The Katrina Myth to middle school students at Isidore Newman School officially launches the Young Ambassadors Program in the New Orleans region.
